2022 Teams and Liveries

1. cortDAO

Community Owned Race Team DAO (CortDAO) is built around a community of motorsport fans and crypto pioneers who want to drive social change and push for reform in motorsports. CortDAO operates as a DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization, which is controlled by its members or ‘community’. Its financial transactions are maintained on a blockchain.

To embrace emerging NFT markets and allow participation of fans big or small, CortDAO will offer online community members an opportunity to subscribe and purchase tokens that will be converted into a portion of the sponsorship of the team and W Series shares. Token holders are granted a percentage share of team ownership and will be increasingly involved in all Team decisions. The higher the number of Tokens owned, the greater percentage of voting rights an individual member receives.

CortDAO is the first ever internet-team that allows online community members to part-own a motor racing team. It intends to initially crowdfund the team in its entirety then accrue additional revenue by collaborating with sponsors that are equally invested in supporting the incredibly talented female drivers of W Series. CortDAO will engage sporting fans in a whole new way while allowing W Series and to explore various new online opportunities including virtual worlds.

2. Jenner Racing

Jenner Racing is founded by Caitlyn Jenner, activist, media personality, TV presenter and Olympic gold-medal winning decathlete. Following Olympic success in 1976, Jenner has remained in sports and the public eye through racing with the Ford Motor Company for 8 years, countless endorsements, speaking engagements, TV appearances, books deals, and other outlets. She is an outspoken advocate for women’s sports and equality. Since going public with her female identity in 2015, Jenner has become a spokesperson for the transgender community. Jenner Racing aims to raise awareness of equal rights whilst promoting the many talented females competing in the male dominated world of motorsports.

3. Quantfury W Series Team

Quantfury W Series Team celebrates people who challenge the status quo and inspire others to push the limits, break barriers and overcome adversity. Quantfurians are changing the exploitative landscape of the retail trading industry worldwide. 4. Bristol Street Motors Click2Drive

Bristol Street Motors champions inclusivity throughout all aspects of its business and partnerships. Last year, it made several changes to encourage more women into its workforce, including offering enhanced maternity pay and creating more than 100 apprenticeships which are targeted at career switchers, or those who had taken a career break, including mothers returning to work.

5. Puma W Series Team

She Moves Us is PUMA’s Women’s platform, celebrating the females who move sports and culture forward and inspire other women around the world. What once began as a working title, Racing X, has now stuck. Racing X embodies the passion, bravery, competitiveness, and ambition that is required by all successful motor racing drivers. We challenge the norm, push the boundaries, and inspire the strong-willed to keep breaking glass ceilings.

7. Sirin Racing

Sirin (pronounced Surin) translates to ‘The Greatest Grace’ in some Asian cultures. Sirin Racing exists to inspire individuals to follow their passions and empower them to succeed. With grace on your side, you can never fail.  In equal measures, Sirin Racing embodies equality, community, and innovation. We are defined by the belief that ‘talent lies everywhere’, and everyone is deserving of equal opportunity. We are proud that our community is the soul of our racing, and we strive for excellence through innovation and exquisite craftsmanship.

8. Scuderia W

Scuderia meaning stable or team, a word that is synonymous with motorsport and automobile racing as many Italian teams incorporate the term in their names. Scuderia W, as such, means ‘Team W’ in Italian. It is a house team, retained by W Series for the 2022 season.

9. Academy

The W Series Academy program is a grassroots initiative that seeks to support the progression of young female talent across all roles in motorsport. As an extension of the program, the Academy Team will provide W Series Academy participants with an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a professional motor racing team.  Each season, Academy drivers will receive dedicated support, mentorship, and training to give them the fundamental skills to pursue a professional career as a motor racing driver. They will only be able to stay in the Academy Team for a maximum of two years to ensure the continuous progression of young talent within the Team.
